Paws and Santa

There is nothing like being a part of a good cause. In the past I participated as a volunteer in an annual charity event organized by Spirit Mission. All donated money from Photo Session with Santa went to helping animals. Spirit Mission is an organization that works with remote, isolated, or underserved BC First Nation communities to create long-term, sustainable animal management plans for the health and safety of both people and animals.

My partner and I worked together in a corner in Bosley's in Nanaimo all day and we didn't stop the whole time. With two other photographers working two other days that weekend, this event was super successful. Thanks to all who came with their furry friends we raised a large amount that went all to help animals mostly in BC northern communities.

Here you can see some of the participants, pups, cats and humans. You can see Santa and his charming helper with Marina, who is the beautiful soul behind this event. (If you go through the gallery, you might find out that even Santa loves pizza.)
